Responsibilities: • Support General Manager in developing and maintaining strong relationships with city-level government officials and politicians. • Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnerships that align with Binance’s strategic objectives. • Lead educational campaigns and awareness efforts to improve understanding of Binance and the broader crypto industry. • Manage communications and inquiries from the JFSA and other regulatory bodies in Japan. • Engage proactively with policymakers and other key stakeholders to foster a favorable policy environment. • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment on regulatory and public affairs strategies. Requirements: • 5 to 7 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or relevant regulatory roles in Japan. • Proven ability to engage effectively with government officials, regulators (particularly JFSA), and political figures. • Strong knowledge of Japanese regulatory environment related to financial services and cryptocurrency. • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Japanese language fluency required; English proficiency preferred.
