VP of Product Strategy and Operations

You will own how our product organization plans, executes, and measures its work — building the operating infrastructure that lets world-class PMs and engineers do their best work on the problems that matter most. From shaping the annual product strategy alongside the CPO, to orchestrating cross-platform planning across DigiCert ONE portfolio, to owning the pricing and monetization architecture that captures the value of our platform — you will hold the connective tissue between vision and delivery. This is not a coordination role. It is an ownership role. Areas of Ownership Product Strategy & Operations • Design and run the operating rhythm of the Product org — OKRs, roadmap reviews, planning cycles, launch readiness, and executive reporting • Own cross-platform dependency management across DigiCert ONE integrations • Establish product analytics and metrics practices that create accountability and learning loops aligned to NNACV, platform adoption, and certificate lifecycle outcomes • Partner with Engineering, Design, and GTM on capacity planning, go-to-market readiness, and launch excellence • Drive continuous improvement of how DigiCert ships — from discovery cadences to release processes to post-launch reviews • Assist with product strategy across DigiCert’s platform portfolio Pricing Strategy & Operations • Own DigiCert’s product pricing strategy end-to-end — including pricing architecture, packaging, and monetization models • Conduct ongoing competitive pricing analysis and willingness-to-pay research to ensure DigiCert captures appropriate value relative to market position • Partner with Finance, Sales, and GTM to design deal structures, discount governance frameworks, and pricing guardrails that protect margin while enabling enterprise growth • Drive pricing operations — including price book management, CPQ alignment, and contract renewal pricing — in close partnership with Revenue Operations • Evaluate and recommend pricing strategies for new product launches CPO Enablement & Org Health • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and operational partner to the Chief Product Officer — including agenda management, stakeholder preparation, and decision support for exec-level forums • Identify organizational bottlenecks — process, tooling, cross-functional — and resolve them before they become delivery failures • Champion a culture of product excellence, high accountability, and psychological safety across the product organization • Drive AI adoption across PM Processes Required • 12+ years in product management, business strategy, operations, or management consulting — with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role • Demonstrated ability to build and scale product operating systems in a high-growth enterprise software or platform environment • Track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that span product, engineering, and GTM teams • Experience operating in a platform business with multiple product lines, integrations, or post-M&A complexity • Fluency in product metrics, OKR frameworks, and roadmap tooling • Demonstrated experience owning or co-owning pricing strategy for a multi-product software or platform business — including packaging, monetization model design, and pricing governance • Exceptional executive communication — written, verbal, and slide-craft • Experience managing and developing product managers or senior individual contributors Preferred • Prior experience as a product manager or product leader, bringing genuine craft empathy to the role • Background in cybersecurity, identity, PKI, DNS, or adjacent enterprise security domains • Experience with subscription and usage-based pricing transitions in an enterprise SaaS or security platform context • Familiarity with CPQ systems, deal desk operations, or Revenue Operations partnerships • Familiarity with certificate lifecycle management, CA/Browser Forum standards, or digital trust infrastructure • Experience integrating acquired products into a unified platform — including roadmap rationalization and team alignment • Prior work in a private equity-backed or high-growth SaaS environment • MBA or equivalent; not required if clearly demonstrated by career record Compensation Transparency: The annualized base salary range for this position is outlined below. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, job duties, business needs, and location. For roles that include additional compensation components, total compensation may include base pay, bonus, equity, or other incentives.
