Painted Body Material Planner – BMW South Africa

BMW South Africa is hiring a Painted Body Material Planner to manage spare parts inventory and ensure smooth production operations. You’ll be responsible for planning, ordering, and monitoring materials to ensure the plant never runs out of critical components. 🧾 Key Responsibilities 📦 Material Planning & Inventory Plan and monitor spare parts and non-series materials Generate purchase orders and manage re-order schedules Prevent stock shortages in production and maintenance 🚚 Supply Chain Coordination Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams Track demand patterns and purchasing trends Coordinate delivery and logistics of materials 📊 SAP & Data Management Maintain material master data in SAP (MM, PM) Manage inventory discrepancies and audits Prevent duplication of materials in SAP 📈 Reporting & Optimization Prepare reports and cost estimates Identify cost-saving opportunities Improve inventory processes and efficiency 🧠 Skills Inventory & supply chain management SAP proficiency Analytical & problem-solving Communication & coordination Project management Closing date: 23 March 2026.
