Implats is hiring 2 OT Cyber Security Specialists to secure and maintain industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments across its refinery operations.
š§ Key Responsibilities
Implement OT cybersecurity controls & monitor networks
Manage SCADA, PLC, and ICS systems
Perform vulnerability assessments & patch management
Maintain IT/OT infrastructure security (firewalls, domains, antivirus)
Support OT projects and system upgrades
Produce reports, logs, and governance documentation
Ensure system uptime, safety, and compliance
Requirements
- NQF Level 6 (IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or similar)
- 2ā4 years experience in OT security / IT infrastructure
- Knowledge of SCADA, PLC, ICS systems
- Strong networking & troubleshooting skills
- Certifications (CompTIA Network+, Security+) ā Advantage
