🗓️Closing Date: 21 June 2026 💰Salary: R500 000 – R549 000 per annum A leading food manufacturing company in Pretoria is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to join their production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring full EHS compliance, risk management, and safety culture development within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires a hands-on professional who can work across departments and drive safety performance on the factory floor. ⚙️ Key Responsibilities 🛡️ Safety & Risk Management Identify and mitigate EHS risks in the facility Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections Drive proactive safety culture on the production floor 📋 Compliance & Auditing Enforce EHS policies and legal compliance Conduct audits and workplace inspections Ensure completion of compliance documentation 🔍 Incident Management Investigate workplace incidents and hazards Implement corrective and preventative actions Maintain safety reporting systems 🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with production, HR, engineering, and finance teams Align EHS objectives across departments Support operational safety improvements 📊 Reporting & Administration Maintain EHS records and reports Ensure timely submission of safety documentation Assist in EHS budget management 💡 Competencies Strong attention to safety compliance Problem-solving & critical thinking Ability to handle pressure and conflict Strong leadership in safety enforcement High accountability and responsibility Team collaboration skills
