The role offers exposure to global finance operations and the opportunity to collaborate with finance professionals across South Africa, the United Kingdom, and other international locations. The position reports directly to the Financial Accounting Manager based in the UK and involves regular interaction with finance business partners, operational teams, auditors, and shareholders. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting * Manage balance sheet accounts and financial accounting records * Prepare month-end journals, allocations, and reconciliations * Ensure compliance with group accounting policies * Conduct regular balance sheet reviews Consolidation and Group Reporting * Prepare monthly consolidated financial results * Upload and review global site submissions * Post consolidation journals * Complete monthly, half-yearly, and annual reporting submissions Tax and Compliance * Manage tax reporting requirements for allocated entities * Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and company policies * Submit required statistical returns * Support company secretarial responsibilities Financial Statements and Audits * Prepare annual consolidated financial statements under IFRS * Prepare statutory financial statements for group entities * Coordinate and manage internal and external audit processes * Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information Continuous Improvement * Improve reporting processes and workflows * Support automation and efficiency initiatives * Strengthen internal controls and governance practices Minimum Requirements Qualifications * BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting OR * Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification Experience and Skills * Experience in financial accounting and reporting * Knowledge of financial consolidations * Strong understanding of IFRS standards * Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities * Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines * Strong communication and teamwork skills Advantageous Skills * Process improvement and automation experience * Power BI experience * Advanced data analysis skills * Experience working within multinational organisations Interested candidates who meet the requirements are encouraged to submit their applications before the closing date.
