About the role
Unilever is hiring a Production Accountant to join its Supply Chain Finance team at the Boksburg Powders Factory. This role focuses on financial control, cost optimisation, and performance management within the production environment. You will play a key role in managing factory financials, driving efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Manage P&L and Balance Sheet for the production site Ensure strong financial controls aligned with global frameworks Lead budgeting and forecasting processes Monitor cost controls and financial performance Support audits (internal & external) and compliance (SOX) Drive cost optimisation and waste reduction initiatives Perform variance analysis and financial reporting Manage stock, CAPEX, and production-related financial data Provide insights for business decision-making Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel SAP (PM/FI/PA) knowledge is advantageous Strong stakeholder management Communication and leadership skills High attention to detail

Requirements
- 3–5 years experience in Supply Chain / Factory Finance
- Financial Accounting qualification
- Progress toward CIMA or CA is advantageous
