About the role

SANRAL is looking for 2 experienced Civil Engineers to mentor graduates and interns through its Technical Excellence Academy (TEA). 👉 You will guide young engineers toward professional registration (ECSA) while supporting real infrastructure projects. 🎯 Key Responsibilities 👨‍🏫 Mentor and train engineering graduates & interns 📊 Track and report progress toward ECSA registration 🛣️ Guide design, planning & road construction projects 📑 Oversee contract documentation and engineering standards 🤝 Engage with stakeholders across national, provincial & local levels ⚙️ Support project execution, risk management & compliance 📐 Review designs and provide technical feedback 📈 Help develop SANRAL engineering standards & procedures 🧠 Key Skills ✔️ Strong leadership & mentoring ability ✔️ Strategic and analytical thinking ✔️ Deep knowledge of engineering design standards ✔️ Ability to guide teams and solve complex problems ✔️ Experience with road design software
