🗓️Closing Date 30 April 2026 Frogfoot Networks (Pty) Ltd is seeking a hands-on and technically skilled Maintenance Fibre Technician to join its Operations team. This role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fibre optic networks across FTTH and FTTB environments, ensuring high-quality connectivity and network performance. 🎯 Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fibre optic networks Test optical components and measure signal strength Maintain network infrastructure from Nodes to Access Points Perform fault-finding and corrective maintenance Conduct fibre splicing, ducting, and cable installation Install ONTs, routers, and customer connections Support FTTH and FTTB site builds Ensure network compliance with SLA and technical standards Report faults, progress, and maintenance activities 🧠 Essential Skills Fibre installation, testing, and troubleshooting Splicing and fibre network maintenance Installation of ONTs and routers Experience working in network Nodes Strong fault-finding ability MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with RT or similar ticketing systems 🧭 Working Conditions Standard hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Monday–Friday) Standby duty required (24/7 availability when rostered) Overtime required when necessary Field-based work environment

Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (or equivalent experience)
- CFOT certification (FOA or equivalent)
- 12–24 months fibre industry experience
- Valid technical knowledge of fibre installations
