The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for Afrikaans education, classroom engagement, and learner development. The successful candidate will be responsible for lesson planning, classroom teaching, learner assessments, academic reporting, and maintaining records in line with Department of Education requirements. Key Responsibilities As an Afrikaans Teacher, your duties may include: ✅ Teaching & Classroom Management Deliver engaging Afrikaans lessons that encourage learner understanding and academic growth. ✅ Lesson Planning & Curriculum Delivery Prepare lessons aligned with the CAPS curriculum, incorporating modern teaching methods and technology. ✅ Learner Assessment & Reporting Evaluate learner performance, maintain academic records, and provide regular progress reports. ✅ Extra Academic Support Offer additional lessons to learners requiring academic assistance. ✅ Learner Welfare & Guidance Assist with learner discipline, counselling, career guidance, and overall student support. ✅ School Administration Maintain attendance records, assessment databases, SBA programmes, and statistical reporting. ✅ Examination Moderation Moderate internal and external test and examination papers where required.
